The hotel Ammos Suites is situated directly by the hotel´s own sandy beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge. The tourist centre is only about 100 m away. The town Heraklion is around 80 km away (Chania around 80 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 500 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 5 m. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 30 m. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Venetian Harbour, Archaeological Museum of Rethymno, Centre of Byzantine Art, Municipal Garden and Historical and Folklore Museum. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 200 m away), a bus stop (approx. 100 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 800 m away. The airport (CHQ) is approx. 67 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee).
